Our mission is to remake and expand the Arcade Classic
"Marble Madness". We want to bring it to a whole new level with enhanced graphics and extended gameplay.
Development was started in earnest a couple years ago, but has taken the back burner several times due to real-life work.
Being a 'Labor of Love' project, its progress has slowly moved forward and never completely stopped. Finally, the game is
nearing completion.
The original 6 levels are all working - as close to the arcade
version as possible. New levels are being created and new challenges are being implemented.
We could use some help with the Art...
We've already redone most of the animations, but there's still many New Creatures and Artworks to be added. We're NOT aiming for photorealism. Basically, we've Doubled the resolution for more detail, Yet have tried to keep the "Semi-Real", but slightly "Cartoonish", look and feel to the game.
We are looking for both 3d artist to help out with models and animations, and 2d pixel artist for tileworks and animation fx details. We also could use some Sound Fx and musical composers...
Unfortunately, with the game being so similar to Marble Madness
there's no money involved... However, it is quite possible that work
on this project may help to get your talents recognized... or maybe you will end up being part of our next new game (that one will be sellable for shared profits)...so please email with your request to help.
